Avoiding Plagiarism
Please remember NOT to copy/paste internet resources.
If you are able to actually research, then compose your paper, in your own words, this is our preference.
If you must do a small amount of copy/paste from the internet, be sure to make each sentence your own by using the thesaurus to change words, switching the structure of the sentence around, etc.

Please also try not to copy/paste more than 1 sentence in a row.
See below for examples of using a resource, but not plagiarizing.
How to change a sentence that you found
in a book or website and make it your own:
Source Sentence: https://www.worldwildlife.org/species/pangolin#
These solitary, primarily nocturnal animals, are easily recognized by their full armor of scales.
My version ~ became 3 sentences with more explanation, and a different order:
The body of a pangolin is covered with scales that look like the armor found on medieval knights.
Pangolins are nocturnal, which means that they sleep during the day, and are active at night.
They prefer to live alone for most of their lives, rather than living in groups.
Resource Page
Please keep a list of every source that you use, whether internet, book, encyclopedia, etc.
This list will become your resource page!
A minimum of 3 sources is best, and if necessary, they can all come from the internet.
Assorted Helpful Tips
Tip #1: Don't start writing until the major paragraph headings (topics) for the Body of your paper are typed into your paper. Bold and underline your paragraph headings so they are easier to find.
Tip #2: Don't attempt to write your Introduction until AFTER your research is done.
You will understand your scientist and disease better, which will enhance the creativity of your writing.
Tip #3: Don't include any "facts" in your Introduction.
Use this paragraph for your creative voice! It should make the reader want to read the rest.
Tip #4: The Table of Contents should be the LAST thing you write.
Yes, it has to be Page 3 in your report, but until you finish writing, you won't know what page everything will end up on.
Tip #5: Sometimes paragraphs get rearranged at the last minute to help the flow of the paper.
Tip #6: Aim for around 12 sentences of info for each paragraph heading. One per year of your age!
