Unit 3 Week 12
This week's main assignment is to organize the information you got during your interview and write the First Draft of the biography.
Your book refers to multiple interviews about multiple people.
I am changing the assignment.
You are WELCOME to gather information about more than one person, but you are not required to.
For instance, maybe you will be interviewing Aunt Sally with the intent to write about Aunt Sally's life,
but she tells you that her grandmother had an amazing experience!
You may still ask Aunt Sally the questions you had prepared in advance for her,
but you may also ask Aunt Sally to tell you her grandmother's story!
You may choose to write about 1 person or both, in that special circumstance.
Module 10.7
This is your Rubric for your interview. A rubric is a self-evaluation tool. You will answer the questions, and award points for yourself based on how well you think you did.
Module 10.8 Learning about the Structure of Paragraphs.
We discussed this in class, and looked at the Expert Model (Module 9.3) to answer the questions.
We decided that in the Expert Model,
Paragraph 1: This paragraph was all about his dad's circumstances that led to having his arm amputated, and how that impacted his life.
Paragraph 2: This paragraph was all about his dad's interests, hobbies and special skills.
Basic Overview of How Paragraphs are Organized:
Thank you, Mrs. Wolf, for finding this review.

Module 10.9 Forming Your Paragraphs
If you have decided to write about more than one person, each person should get his or her own paragraphs.
