Homework for Week 2 –
Do not wait until next week to start in case you need help!
1. Complete everything shown in the Daily Schedule at the top of this page.
2. check the boxes in your Daily Schedule when you finish each day’s work.
3. As you complete your assignments, check them off on your module 1 checklist (pgs. 39-41)
4. Drop off your book and all your work (make sure your name is on everything!) in the box or crate labeled for our class when you arrive at co-op on Wednesday, so that I can check your work during first hour. You will find this in the lobby just outside the sanctuary.
Additional information:
This week’s homework focuses on finding trustworthy and reliable sources, and on internet safety.
Anyone can post anything on the internet. Modules 1.6 to 1.8 focus on how to determine if a source is reliable and trustworthy.
For assignment 1.7, write down your ideas and we will discuss them in class.
Read Modules 1.9 - 1.10 on Internet Safety carefully and study the examples. Discuss what you learn with your parents. This book does a decent job of teaching on this topic, but your parents may have additional rules for your home.
If you run into difficulties with your internet searches, seek the assistance of your parents or other family members first. If you still need help, email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
The Sandbox assignment on page 36 does not have space in the student text or workbook. This must be either handwritten or typed on the computer.
