Unit 1 Week 3
Homework for Week 3 –
Do not wait until next week to start in case you need help!
1. Complete everything shown in the Daily Schedule at the top of this page.
2. Check the boxes in your Daily Schedule when you finish each day’s work.
3. As you complete your assignments, check them off on your module 2 checklist (pgs. 68-70)
4. Drop off your book and all your work (make sure your name is on everything!) in the box or crate labeled for our class when you arrive at co-op on Wednesday, so that I can check your work during first hour. You will find this in the lobby just outside the sanctuary.
Additional information:
Last week we learned about finding good internet sources. This week we are looking at books.
Study the infographic on pages 46-47.
Complete Module 2.6 using your library’s catalog system. You can find help for the Portage Library here: http://www.portagelibrary.info/kids-teens/E2/ You must find resources for each animal on your short list, not just your top pick.
You can check out your resources from the library, or you can wait for our fieldtrip. You can also use any reliable resources you have at home.
Once you have gathered at least three reliable book resources, you can complete Modules 2.7 and 2.8.
Review the study strategies in Module 2.9 that we went over in class. We will go more in depth into these next week.
If you run into difficulties with your searches, seek the assistance of your parents or librarian first.
